Since 2014---the first year of the Internet, the internet tidal wave has been making the whole world immersed in the change. No matter the rapid development of wireless network technology or the constantly updated of smart mobile phone, all these phenomena are require university library ---- the university information center to make a change. Great changes have taken place for the demands and reading habits of people who are living in the wave of internet. Reading habits from the common migration to digital media, people can take advantage of some vehicle equipments to realize reading like computer and intelligent carrier. So the mobile library service was born in university library. After years of development, mobile library services have passed the primary stage and now in a stage of rapid growth. All the university library are take the mobile library services as one of the key point of the development in the future.The paper introduces the development status at home and abroad through literature research as well as the basic theory of the mobile library, investigates the twenty colleges of the "985 Project" universities on the web which are better in mobile library service, gains specific circumstances, such as library opening hours, service mode, service function and the developers and so on, and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of each service. By the way of questionnaire survey, the author selects 985 project,211 project, ordinary institutions of higher education, higher vocational colleges as questionnaire survey and finds that users are dissatisfied with the now the majority of library services. Mainly exist the following problems, such as low retrieval efficiency, poor user experience, unfriendly interface and so on.The need of users about mobile library service including:OPAC retrieval, the lecture and activity information, overdue notice, book and renew, personalized service, online reading and other functions. On the basis of investigation and survey on the network, as well as according to consumerism, personalization, fair and other principles, the author builds college mobile service platform model from five aspects as follow:the user, application, management, technology and content. Then the author makes use of the model and software and hardware equipment to designs and develops a mobile service platform and makes an empirical analysis. The platform provides two modes of service for the user:WAP page and APP application. It also provides OPAC search, book and renew, overdue notice, lecture information, online reference, book recommendations, personal information management, online reading, online notes, SNS readers communication, seat management and personalized retrieval service. The platform also realize the resource share, comment, exchanges and other activities through microblog, wetchat, Douban.com and other channel.Through the process of model building and software development platform, the author finds that the libraries of colleges and universities in China and the platform model still has many problems and shortcomings, such as the service pattern is similar, the contents is single, low utilization rate of resources, poor user penetration rate and so on. In view of the existing problems, the paper puts forward some improvement suggestions and reasonable planning, such as rational planning of layout, increase promotional efforts, efforts to develop the University mobile library service alliance. In the last part of the article analyzes the shortcomings of the research, gives the solution method and research direction in the future. |
