The Research On The Information Resource Construction Of Mobile Library In Chinese Universities

The development and popularization of mobile network technology has gradually changed people’s online mode, but also led to the birth and development of the mobile library.In our country, mobile library started preliminary development, mobile library construction and service is not yet mature.The mobile library information resources is the basis of mobile library services, in order to improve the users’ efficiency of mobile library resources and services, it is very necessary to research mobile library information resource construction. This article mainly launches the research from the following five aspects:The first part, the paper expounds the research background and research significance of the topic, and then reviewed research status of mobile library from the aspects of the service mode, user research, practical application and resources construction. Finally introduced this topic research content, research methods and thesis innovation points;The second part is the summary of relevant theories, including an overview of the mobile library and mobile information resources, and the theory of library information resources construction, it is the foundation of after research;The third part is the study of mobile library users’ information demand, by using the method of questionnaire to survey of college students, analyze their use of mobile library service situation and specific requirements of mobile information resources; Results showed that the user’s demands focus on professional learning, entertainment and personalized service.The fourth part is case analysis. We select some mobile libraries at home and abroad and, by the method of network access survey investigated the main information resources of these mobile libraries of colleges and universities, and found that domestic mobile library resources construction faces some problems.The fifth part put forward the suggestions and strategies on the basis of the results of the user’s demand survey and case survey. The opinion is that we can improve the mobile library information resource construction by enriching the mobile contents of library information resources, strengthening the integration of mobile information resources, the mobile library information resource sharing, and the mobile library website construction.
