With the concept of "Industry 4.0" has been put forward, "Smart factory" and "intelligent production" will be the target of industrial production, however, intelligent cannot be achieved without network. Due to its flexibility and versatility, configuration software is widely used in the field of industrial control, but the existing configuration software cannot fully achieve networking. Although some configuration software have provided the way of web publishing, it only realized remote monitoring under the web, and cannot realized the configuration function under the web, this is far from taking advantage of the Internet.The thesis adopted the design concept of existing configuration software, designed one configuration software that completely based on B/S structure and used our own-developed universal controller as hardware platform which aims to realize network of configuration software. Using this configuration software can not only achieve the target of remote monitoring under web, but also the modular configuration under web. In order to prove the stability and reliability of the system, the thesis took intelligent building as an example and introduced its application in detail. The main contents of the thesis follow as:Firstly, the thesis finished the general design including system structure, overall architecture, main technology and operating environment. The software design of the whole system can be divided into four parts such as user interface on client, business logic processing and data access on server, database design and communication realization on the driver layer. Database design and communication realization on the driver layer are the core parts of the system, which are the keys to achieve data sharing and communication with universal controller.Secondly, the thesis introduced the implementation method of the system. The thesis introduced each modules of the system in detail, including user management, data access layer, system configuration, real-time monitoring and implementation method of communication on the driver layer. In addition, the thesis described the technology and principles of each module.Finally, the thesis built a database platform for the configuration software. The thesis analyzed data requirements of the configuration software in detail, and used some design theory and method of database to design and optimize the database. In addition, taking into account that the system will produce large amounts of historical data, the thesis take vertical segmentation on historical data in order to speed up the retrieval speed, and this can improve the performance of database.The configuration software based on ASP.NET in the subject has been used in the actual project application. Practice has proved that this system has realized the configuration and real-time monitoring under web, and it has good stability and reliability.
