The Design Of Jiaxing Learning Website For City University Of Jiaxing

In the year January,2005, City University of Jiaxing was established based on Jiaxing Radio & TV University. Adhering to the running policy of "educate should be geared to the need of local, of grass-roots and of rural area", taking full advantages of various instruction forms like radio, TV, textbooks, audio-visual teaching material, computer courseware and internet, the school implements academic education on different levels, like undergraduate education, junior college education, vocational education, and various non-academic training, to meet the requirements of diversified and personalized learning of people and makes lifelong learning one of the living styles of people in Jiaxing. Jiaxing Learning Net meets the request of keeping pace with the times and responding the national calls for lifelong learning.Lifelong learning means that people should keep learning all over their life. The ability to learn, use and create knowledge is the most important motive for the development of modern society, while establishing learning society has become the objective trend and inevitable choice of human society development.Based on the reality of City University of Jiaxing, this paper fully considers the functional requirements of Jiaxing Learning Net from different aspects. Construction of Jiaxing Learning Net system mainly includes the construction of four parts:the system platform of "Online Learning", the learning resources of "Online Learning", the recording & living broadcast classroom system and the network platform of "Online Learning".The leading technologies and popular trends of various industries are under overall consideration during the establishing of the system to guarantee that extension and revolution for the whole project with excellent possibility of development and integration, which is consistent to the popular industry developing trend by remaining at the forefront of technology. The project adopts the tri-layer B/S mode system, platform of J2EE develop technology and electronic learning technology called E-learning as well as FLV-based streaming media server in the whole process of designing and developing.
