Based On The J2ee Design And Implementation Of Online Learning Center

With the development of network technology and multimedia technology,traditional teaching method can’t adapt to the requirement of modern education.Students and teachers are too impatient to wait to study online via informationtechnology. According to the background mentioned above and combined with theexisting technology and facilities, we develop an online-learning center.Compared with the traditional teaching pattern, the online learning center hasmany advantages. First, online-learning center reduces the work of teachers, meanwhileit improves work efficiency productivity. Second, online-learning center can providestudents with a better learning environment. Third, the online-learning center providesa convenient communicating platform for teachers and students.This article first introduces the background and the purport of the online-learning,furthermore, it analyses the possibility and the necessity of developing online-learningcenter, combined with the actuality of online-learning at home and abroad. Then,combining with actual the requirement analysis, and the overall design, it develops anonline-learning center which suits the campus network. Finally we test the system toensure system has to meet our demands.Online-learning center’s development adopts the J2EE four layers framework,and it combines with Model Driven Architecture. Based on the B/S pattern, it has goodreliability and scalability. Online-learning center provides the function of covering thebasic and relevant teaching in all its aspects, and it includes the curriculum management,courseware management, operation management, the exam management, learningcenter argument, reports, and the output of function module.The paper finally summarized the system work, shortcomings and hope in the nextstep of work can be improved and perfected.
