Study On The Autonomous Learning Supporting Online Learning System

The trend of modern education development is to improve the learning efficiency,to promote the amelioration of student learning and to develop their self-study ability.It is the Learner-centered Online Learning System that provides a broad space for the self-study development.It has been considered as not only one of the most important ways but also the potential direction of the modern education.Based on the background mentioned above,this paper tries to design and develop an Online Learning System with the characteristics that could cultivate the self-study capacity of students.There are also some other advantages of this system such as better reliability and expansibility because the system employs the four-tier structure of J2EE and bases on the B/S pattern.Besides,the system breaks many restrictions of traditional education and provides users the integrated service including courseware download,teacher's instruction,online discussion and online-evaluation.It is no doubt that there are some special important meanings of system to improve the technology and quality of teaching,which has the broad social value and application prospects.From the functional view,there are three subsystems such as the online learning subsystem, online teaching subsystem and system management subsystem;while from the frame structure view there are five objects such as the student object,the teacher object,the management object, the communication object and evaluation object,which are all molded by the UML.This paper divide the develop process into three parts according to the software engineering ideas and discuss them separately.(1)Confirm the structure and behavior of the system in the stage of requirement analysis.(2)In the phase of system design,discuss the specific functions of this online learning system,frame of the system and the database design.In order to give the right suggestion to students according to the individual weakness exposed in the learning process,we have to build the New Evaluation Model combining with the dynamic difficult coefficient. What's more,it is much more optional and efficiency because we give another advanced approach to the paper component.(3)In the implementation stage,the implementation of the system is supported by system database connection and system function implementation.The implementation interface and program codes of key module are also concluded.The end of the paper is conclusion and some points need to improve.
