Research On Journalism And Propaganda Of The Communist Party Of China In Early People’s Republic Of China Era

From the establishment of People’s Republic of China to the completion of the socialist transformation, the Communist Party of China overcame the difficulties and managed to maintain a rapid growth. During this process, their journalism and propaganda proved valuable promoting the political, economic, cultural aspect of the society and people’s living quality. Analyzing its contribution to recovery of economy, stabilization of society and the establishment of the guiding status of Marxism, shall provide a good showcase that benefits our current journalism and propaganda.This article is dedicated to analyze the journalism and propaganda during early PRC ear from multiple approaches. Firstly, there is a brief review of the propaganda and journalism of Chinese Communist Party in pre-PRC era. The journalism of Communist Party served the course and perfected itself throughout the establishment, development and fruiting of the Party. Through the historical facts before the founding of PRC shall help researchers tracing relevant policies thereafter. Secondly, the article shall detail the organizing of the official agencies and the roles of them. Laying the basis of any frontline demands the development of relevant institutions. As for PRC and Communist Praty of China, the establishment or reforming of press industry, radio networks, newspapers and propaganda system played an auxiliary yet important role in the first 7 years after the founding of PRC, during which time the journalism of the Party had developed rapidly.And such achievement was of course achieved by the pioneers guided by the Marxist view on journalism. They endeavored experiments with the inspirations from Soviet Union and analysis of the actual situations and eventually achieved satisfying results. In summary of the experiences, we must maintain the guiding status of localized Marxism and leading position of the party, thus maintain the just course of this industry. We must maintain the bottom line of current journalism and propaganda work of the party and pay proper attention and attribution to the ideology of the Party. And we must pay attention to the just demands of the people, the justifiable trends of the industry globally, and carry out reassessment of what we lack, in hope to further achievement of reformation and potential breakthroughs.Coordinating with the Party and states’ efforts actively, promoting Marxism and Leninism in approaches easily accessible to people, providing easily acceptable interpretations that promote new-democratic revolution and construction, the party’s journalism and propaganda have always put themselves on the frontline of the revolutionary works. They serve as powerful instruments in the hands of the Communist Party of China and worth further research and exploration.
