Power equipment inspection is the basic work for the stable operation of the power equipment.The purpose of the inspection is to mastering the conditions of the equipment operation and the changes of the environment around it. Find the defective and endanger of the equipment. And ensure the safe operation of the equipment and power system stability. At present, the identification distance of the inspection terminal which the power company used is short and can’t meet the equipment of the inspection work in the high and complicated environment.Inspection data using USB interface transmission,can not guarantee real-time transmission to the information center.The inspection equipment is not intelligent and can only achieve the ordinary inspection functions.This paper designs a new electricity inspection terminal based on UHF RFID technology.The working frequency of this terminal is920 MHz.It brings the UHF RFID technology into the field of electricity inspection for the first time. The inspection terminal can meet the electric patrol tasks,save labor costs and reduce the cost of inspection.The inspection terminal identification distance can reach more than 10 meters, can be very good to meet a variety of complex environment inspection tasks,to make up for the deficiencies of the current market inspection equipment identification distance shorter. The GPRS and GPS technology allows the inspection terminal to communicate with the control center in real time. And the founded problem can be resolved timely.It designs good interaction interface, provides the functions of fixed time and fixed point inspection reminder.lt improves the intelligence degree of the inspection terminal.The hardware of the inspection terminal consists of two parts: the control unit based on S3C6410 processor and the RF unit based on AS3992 chip.The control unit is the control center of the terminal.lt equipped with 128 M Bytes mobile DDR memory and IG Bytes NAND Flash which can ensure the equipment run faster. It designed the lOOM Ethernet interface, RS232 interface, USB interface,LCD touch interface.Those interfaces can be convenient for system debugging and secondary development. It designs the GPRS module which can ensure upload the inspection data to the control center in real time.It designs the GPS module which can locate the position of the patrol person in real time. The RF unit is based on the AS3992 chip.It equipped with amplifier circuit, low-pass filter circuit, coupler and antenna impedance matching tuned circuit. It can identify the labels which meet ISO/IEC 18000-6C protocol. It designs the power detection circuit and the operational amplifier circuits which achieve closed-loop control of the output power. It can identify the label in the distance of 10 meters with the 9dBi antenna.Finally this paper describes the PCB design and focus on the stack and the microstrip line of the RF circuit design.The software design describes the construct of the embedded system based on the S3C6410 processor. It describes the set up process of the ARM-Linux software compiling and debugging environment. And gives detailed analysis of the U-boot start up process and transplant method in the platform. It detailed analysis of the embedded Linux kernel the transplant and cutting method, and YAFFS root file system make methods.At the end of this paper,it describes the test work of the inspection terminal which includes the hardware start up test, identify labels test, and the inspection terminal performance test. It do the important work in the identify labels test analysis. Uses the Spectrum Analyzer to analysis the wave shape in accordance with ISO/IEC 18000-6C protocol.At last this paper ended with the summary and points out the deficiencies and the direction for further research.
