With the development of computer and micro- electron technology, the embedded CPU has high reliability, small volume, low power etc., so it is widely used in engineering area. Considering the characteristic and demand of the electric power monitoring in industry substation, the study design on electric power monitor based on S3C44B0X andμC/OS-Ⅱis proposed in this paper. Compared with the traditional electric power monitor, the data acquisition and processing operating speed have great improvement and enhancement.To hardware of embedded electric power monitor, CPU, memory system, data acquisition, man-machine interface and serial communication are designed. A/D, D/A, I/O, LCD and RS232 string are expanded to the input and output of simulate quantity and switch quantity, the indication of electric current and voltage, the correspondence to position machine. To software, first, the started code BootLoader is designed, then, theμC/OS-Ⅱis transplant to S3C44B0X, last the application procedure is developed. The data acquisition, monitor control and serial communication can be achieved. Furthermore, the operation state of equipments in industry substation can be monitored in real-time.
