The popular user research methods is based traditional face-to-face methods now, which have obvious shortages including: smaller scale、lack of details、interference to the users and low accuracy. Moreover, the blackground of use of product is becoming more and more complex so the the traditional methods is getting worse. However, the current user research tools did not pay enough attention to the context of the use of the products. With the development of context-aware technology, it is possible to assist user experience researcher to study using Context-Aware User Experience Research Tool which can solve the problems that is brought by traditional methods to some extent. The requirement of the tool is identified by need of user researcher and technical feasibility. Then the tool is designed and completed. The mobile user experience is impacted largely by their surroundings which is ignored by other user research tool,in addition traditional research methods have shortcomings in studing context of product. So mobile user experience study need Context-Aware User Experience Research Tool. It focuses on exploring mobile application user experience by the tool、combining the traditional artificial methods and tool and proposing the new requirement of the tool. This case study include two parts:the first part is comprehending the tool、 analyzing the data initially and identifying the data characteristics of basic context on which is the basis in analyzing the context from data. The second part is recruiting users to conduct the experiment and collect the data. Then the user experience problems are found according to analysis of data using artificial methods. Finally I summarize several shortcomings in studing the case and identify the new abilities of the tool, in addition look far ahead into the future of case study.
