With the progress of science and technology and the enhancement of people’s health consciousness, personal health care is developed rapidly, especially in the prevention and nursing of the heart disease. The elektrokardiogramm (simply EKG) can response to heart health directly. The EKG is detected by hospital EKG machine traditionally, it gives the patients a choice of hospitals in which to be diagnosed and treated, the method is expensive and time-consuming.For most of the heart disease is attacked with suddenly and irregularly, it’s very important to take real time care of the regularity and characteristics about the cardiac activity and movement.The distributed detection system has a high flexibility in sending the EKG data to the personal computer and the remote caring center.This paper proposed a design project of remote distributed EKG monitor system which is combined well with random design, good portability and high real-time.The distributed EKG monitor system is the application of Zynq platform in the field of intelligent home health platform. It’s a distributed, intelligent, systematic, networking product which is amalgamated with the technologies of sensor, digital circuit, FPGA, embedded system, radio, wireless network,computer application and signal processing.The control core processor of the system is ARM+FPGA, which is on the Xilinx Zynq AP SoC platform. The EKG signal that collected by the sensors is transferred from the EKG condition module to the SoC platform.The processed EKG data is dispatched through two wireless data transmit channels, the one is from the Bluetooth module to the client and the other is through the GPRS module to the remote caring center. The Labview software in the client and the remote caring center processed the EKG data for dynamic waveform and calculated the heart rate values in order to serve the customers and the medical staffs. The main contents are as follows:(1) The design scheme of EKG monitor system is putted forward, and the hardware design and debugging of the three modules(EKG signal condition, Bluetooth and GPRS wireless network)based on Zynq platform is completed. (2) The working principle and the development process of of Zynq Programmable Logic is deeply studied. The FPGA IP core of the three modules is self-designed. (3)The working principle and the development process of of Zynq Processing System is deeply studied. The device driver design, application program and system migration based on Linux system of the three modules is fulfilled. (4)The EKG signal is analysised and processed based on the theory of wavelet transform. The eigenvalue of EKG signal is picked up for diagnosing. The EKG software of the client and the remote caring center is accomplished.Finally, the debug and test of the distributed EKG monitor system that has designed and implemented which is completed. The results show that the EKG signal can be acquired and analysed accurately through the equipment, the heart rate can also be calculated precisely.It was very useful for the person to take good care of their EKG health situation indoors, and It has doing medical staff a favour by analysing and diagnosing of the most likely heart diseases.To some extent, it has a significant warning to reduce the incidence of major cardiovascular diseases and it has lots of potential engineering applications.
