Nowadays,communication technology,electronic information technology and industrial control technology are developing rapidly.In order to protect the personal safety of the staff in the severe environment of the large operating machinery as much as possible,more and more wireless remote control equipment appears in the production line.But at the same time,the maintenance and fault diagnosis of industrial equipment are facing more and more challenges.It is necessary to have a detailed understanding of their real-time status,so that we can discover problems in time and develop operation or maintenance plan.In this project,utilizing a locomotive intelligent monitoring system Based on Mesh,we designed a handheld monitor unit.It has an excellent human machine interface and can execute tasks as real-time monitoring of locomotive state information,the acquisition of locomotive history records,the emergency control of the locomotive,the configuration and release of important control quantity in the area where the base station signal cannot be covered.The handheld monitor unit solves the problem of monitoring locomotive state in the signal blind area.The handheld monitor unit uses the LPC1768 microprocessor.Users select the tasks to be executed on the menu page.After the data was packed according to the communication protocol,the C02128 communication chip transfers data to the target device in SerialNet.After receiving the reply,the handheld monitoring unit extracts the data and displays it on the LCD screen,completing the target of information collection and communication control.At the same time,the handheld monitoring unit has the off-line data import function,uploading the collected locomotive data into the host computer monitoring software through the RS-232 interface.This article is organized as follows.First part is the introduction of the research,including its background,actuality and research objective in this paper.It introduces the overall framework of the locomotive intelligent monitoring system based on Mesh,the main functions of each part and the principle of Mesh network and Ad-Hoc network.Then it introduces the main circuit modules,including Flash and EEprom memory module,power supply module,Keyswitch module and RS232 interface module.After that,it introduces data storage,menu structure,task and event management,SerialNet communication mode and the whole process module on software platform.According to the functional requirements of the handheld monitoring unit,we designed the communication protocol,human machine interface and the software processing logic respectively.Finally,it shows the test to the whole system and analysis of the results.The actual test results show that the design of human machine interface is beautiful and reasonable,and the page switching operation is smooth.The functions of information collection,data uploading and communication control are realized with the communication protocol,achieving the desired goals.
