Compared with overseas open universities, Chinese and universities are enclosed. The purpose of this way is to make school in a better order, but enclosed school is inconsistent with university spirits which are open, freedom and tolerance. Objectively speaking, with the influence of traditional culture, we need to set up access control system to strengthen campus management.In this paper, take the access control system of Southwest Jiaotong University for example, a set of software and hardware management campus vehicle traffic system is designed, and the appearance of access control hardware facility is optimized to dismiss the cold access control security system so as to make it integrated with school cultural atmosphere. In this way, hommization and the sense of warmth will be created to make guard system coordinated and harmonized with school gate so as to better highlight the cultural atmosphere of school. In china, all the university access control management hardware is equipped with sentry box, barrier gate, camera, guard railing and decelerating belt. Generally, the technology used is non-contact IC card and ETC. Actually, in the process of using, there are a series of problems. In this paper, by means of analyzing these defects, a further improvement method will be explored. For example, the security of ETC is urged to get improved. The payment method of IC card not only makes the staff have great working pressure, to some extent, the fluency of school gate traffic is influenced.With the rapid development of technology, the era of intelligence is coming. Usually, it can meet daily requirements by using the APP of smart phone. For example, more and more people are using electronic payment to replace a part of traditional payment method. GPS takes the place of traditional map. By scanning QR code with a mobile phone, a lot of information resources can be received fast. These techniques offer new possibility for campus access control management to make campus management mode get more intelligentized, informationized, self-support, diversified and networked from ordinary mode so as to set up intelligentized management system for campus vehicles, the purpose of which is to meet the requirements of campus traffic managements effectively.
