A Research On Bbs And Public Discourse Power

With the micro-blog、Wechat and other new social medias appeared,it impacted on BBS in a certain extent,but due to the breadth and depth of contents,BBS is not only existence but also lasting vitality. BBS enormously liberates people’s power of discourse,at the same time significantly shaken the monopoly of traditional discourse. So the original discourse pattern has to be reconstructed,and the publics can join the government and political affairs through BBS. The individuals master more and more opportunity to express their feelings and ideas,the pattern of discourse power on BBS is developing in constantly deconstruction and reconstruction cycle.This paper aims to explore the public discourse on comprehensive BBS under the new social media environment. Does public discourse on BBS match with social moral guidance? Can BBS achieve discourse balanced and become the qualified public sphere? In this research,first simply makes dynamic analysis the development steps and basic characteristics of BBS,studies the discourse theory and discourse power theory,and defines the BBS‘s public discourse power. Then,I elaborate the concept of public discourse power,and summarize the expression ways on BBS.After selecting the "Hangzhou 19 BBS" as a example,researches the discourse power operation——discourse subject and audience、discourse contents and discourse effects,and summarizes the characteristics of the discourse subject portraits,behavior motivation,user roles and discourse characteristics on the Hangzhou 19 BBS. Selecting it as the research sample bases on following reasons: firstly,national BBS is difficult to provide comprehensive information services,but local BBS has been becoming the development trend; secondly,Hangzhou 19 BBS has newspaper background,and ranks highly on the number of users and actual influence within china local BBS.We can found that there are symbol and management anomie,discourse relation imbalance,discourse power imbalance and discourse content imbalance on BBS,such as violence,power abuse,grade system,water army,promoter rumor and excessive entertainment online.This paper uses Foucault‘s discourse theory,Anomie theory and Hagerman‘s public sphere theory to discuss the anomie and imbalances of discourse power on BBS. According to the relevant theories,analyzes the effective ways to solve the problems through different aspects such as the discourse subject,discourse carrier,and media ecology. There are five methods to promote the public sphere discourse that is improving the users‘ media literacy and BBS operation standards, formulating regulations,and also balancing discourse subject and contents.
