Human beings created an unprecedented absolutely new era: mass media era. The mass media has formed a strong dominating force which controls the whole human discourse system. The article makes a deep and specific analysis of the construction and composition of the media discourse power, the hidden manipulator behind the media and the complicated influence on the controlling relation of the media power from the emergence of the global commercial media groups, studies the role played by the media in the processes of the human society and shows the various worrying effects the media brings to the social political and cultural life for its highly monopolization and commercial tendency. The author tries hard to put the media discourse under the social reality, reexplains the covered political and economical relation and keeps a lasting critical attitude to the mass media.
