The three-dimensional locator is common equipment for rescuers which can protect theirlives, but there is no test system for this equipment in our country for now. A two-axis turntablewas developed in this thesis to meet the practical requirements of factories. It realized the ofengine performance test of three-dimensional locator.First of all, design requirements of turntable were proposed by summarizing thethree-dimensional locator test standards. According to the design requirements, the type ofturntable was selected and further designed. Based on the analysis of the design structure, theproper driving solution was decided.Second, static analysis and modal analysis of the axis and truss was conducted. Stress, strainas well as displacement were obtained through simulation function in Solidworks. The staticanalysis indicated that this turntable satisfy the requirements of strength. In addition, safety factorsare ideal. The modal analysis suggested that the various modal of the turntable componentsinherent frequency are higher than frequency of excitation source. This shows its stability, as theresonance cannot occur.Furthermore, a control component was selected by summarizing the functions of the controlsystem. Then, the control system of the turntable was developed.At last, the prototype of this turntable was produced. It realized its intended application. Also,the verification of various factors was implemented.
