Design And Implementation Of Schedule Management System Based On Android

As the development of the network technology and computer science, it acceleratesthe widespread use of schedule management systems to assist daily businessarrangement. These systems act as an electronic housekeeper, giving timely remindersof import events by recording all the daily work and business arrangement into acentral database.As the acceleration of the take-up of the Android-based smart phones, more and moremodern office workers and students have used to employ these schedule managementapps, which built upon Android architecture, to facilitate their daily work and life.However, due to pursuit excessive functionalities, the practicability and user-friendlyinterface are often ignored by most existing schedule management software. Forexample, some tiny but very useful functions have not provided by many similarsystems, such as adding a memo needing several unnecessary operations, no timelyreminder, and failed to display information in lock-screen mode. In order to solvethese problems mentioned above, the paper proposed a user-friendly, practicalschedule management application based on Android architecture.Considering the real requirements of users, the paper designed and implemented aclear, simple and practical schedule management system, by employing manymainstream UI (User Interface) design schemes. Users can be quickly familiar withthe system through the clear and simple user interface, manage their schedules selectthe style of reminder, and mark important events directly and conveniently. On the topof Android’s architecture, an efficient and stable schedule data management platformwas also implemented in the paper, and based on the platform, event reminder, timerservice and backend monitor are integrated into the system, and moreover,user-custom components and extensible interface are also provided.The paper aims at releasing the boring management of daily work and businessarrangement, providing a simple and easy-use schedule management tool for Androidphone users. The paper’s system makes it possible for users to look up events, arrangework plans, and set reminders and timers at anytime and anywhere. It is believed that the system will become a useful helper of the smart phone users, and bring greatconvenience to their modern life, due to its good flexibility and extendibility.
