Chinese territory cross north and south latitude of50degrees, the minimum airtemperature in the coldest area of China (Hu Ma in Heilong Jiang province) is-48℃, ground temperature reaches-53℃; the maximum air temperature in thewarmest area is47.61℃, ground area reaches75℃. Above geographic conditionrequires that rugged computers, which are used as core equipment of moderninformational organizational equipment must adapt to wide range of temperature.Weapon system and electronic equipment generate large quantity of electromagneticradiation while operating. The higher the EMI, the more threats to the electronicequipment in battle environment, therefore, studying the electromagnetic protection ofrugged computers has practical significance.In this thesis, we studied and summarized Efficient heat dissipation technology,Rapid start technology at low temperature, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), sothat we learned well about the environment adaptability of rugged computers.By way of tracking the development of worldwide heat dissipation technology,we studied various of high-efficiency cooling mechanism、 typical applicationenvironment、realization approach、synthetic application and Thermal simulationtechnology. We summarized experience of establishing simulation model, controlsimulation error, realize thermal design optimization through comparing thesimulation result and experimental result, and analyzing the errors.We come up with a reasonable technological solution after studyinglow-temperature adaptive technology from following3aspects (Power Supply Design,Components/Raw materials selection and process requirement, Signal integrity atlow-temperature).Tolerance analysis is a approach of systematic analysis of circuitreliability. It will greatly enhance operational reliability of the whole system andfacilitate the realization of low-temperature quick start of rugged computers if weintroduce tolerance analysis during design process.From study of electromagnetic compatibility, we summarized the types ofinterference analysis and built the electromagnetic field mode, we guided the designand the manufacturing then the debugging engineering prototype successfully byusing the simulation software to calculation and analysis. Using this research, the electromagnetic compatibility of the machine from the past focused on engineeringtest late diagnosis to the prediction of the early stage of the project instruction. It helpsto development the equipment quickly and improves product reliability.From the system to the individual carrying equipment, computer control iseverywhere. The research of ruggedized computer environment adaptability.Simulation the cooling efficiency, propagation coupling and sensitive process ofelectromagnetic interference by using computer technology. They made lower cost fordesign Ruggedized Computer, and improves the production efficiency. This kind ofresearch laid a good foundation for the next work.
