| With the network technology and high-speed digital circuit chip technology continues development, the server applications are used widely, and the speed of data is more and more fast, the server's electromagnetic compatibility problem need to be solved urgently, but server's electromagnetic compatibility study is limited currently in our country. To improve the capability of solving server's electromagnetic compatibility issue, the paper based on the research of basic theory of electromagnetic compatibility, put forward a set of complete product EMC design process and implement electromagnetic compatibility design for server product according to the process, using existed technology knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility , put forward server's EMC issue design solution.The paper included shielding, filtering, grounding, and PCB EMC design etc. Shielding design of the structure mainly focus on the gaps of metal chassis, thermal holes, input and output port grounding EMC design etc. filtering EMC design mainly included power supply filtering and signal filtering; grounding design mainly focus on grounding between each functional module, grounding between each PCB board and PCB grounding design etc. The paper also provided detail schematic, PCB, and structural EMC design for the server product. Performed EMC testing according to the standards of information and technology products standards EN 55022: 2006, EN55024: 1998 + A1: 2001 + A2: 2003, EN 61000-3-2: 2009, EN 61000-3-3: 2008 and FCC Part 15: 2008 etc.EMC testing were performed for the server product, and the results showed both electromagnetic emission and electromagnetic sensitivity met EMC standard requirements and corporation internal additional requirements and the server's EMC design solution was feasible. Put EMC design to overall product design process, reduced EMC design risk of design process. The server's successful EMC design experience provides positive design guideline for similar products. |
