Design And Implementation Of A Fixed Asset Management System Based On Cloud Platform

Along with the rapid development of Internet, information technology has been widelyapplied to the management of the government departments, and the information managementhas reached to a peak due to the emergence of cloud computing. The management of fixedassets is a problem that every government department needs to face. Under the previous assetmanagement mode, every subordinate unit develops its own asset management system. Asthere exist multilevel subordinate units in the government structure. Although the needs ofasset management for each level have been satisfied, the repetitive development and hugedemand of maintainer led to the high cost and huge waste of time and energy, also limited thefuture expansibility.The fixed asset management system based on cloud platform which this paper designed,aim to solve the problems existed in government departments which traditional fixed assetmanagement brought. Aiming at the disadvantages in traditional system inefficientmanagement, high application costs, limited future expansibility and so forth, the referrednew system draws into workflow management system and use of cloud platform. Theworkflow management system separate the business logic as a core module to complete thetask of process scheduling and processing, and share the information with other functionalmodules through the database, which significantly improve the management efficiency. Whilethe application of the cloud platform enables system deploy through the cloud, which canrealize the possibility of all departments sharing one system, and avoids repeatingdevelopment. The difficulty of future system maintenance and extension can be reduced insignificant measure benefit from the flexible and expansible cloud platform.Whereas the background above, this paper will concentrate on the design andexploitation of fixed asset management system based on cloud platform. Firstly, a simpleintroduction will show the relatively background and status quo of fixed-assets managementsystem, cloud platform. Secondly, a brief overview of the key technology involved in thedevelopment of the system will be state. Then, describing the requirement, design andimplementation of the system in details. Finally, summarizing the whole paper and discussingthe prospect of the new system, to find out the shortages and places need to be improved.A more comprehensive fixed asset management system based on cloud platform isdesigned and implemented by employing j2ee platform with the Java programming language,oracle database and cloud platform. Through analyzing the workflow technology applicationin the design of fixed assets management system, a fixed asset management system model isestablished based on workflow technology. The user management of the platform adopts the unified user management system and builds a kind of unified user authentication which cansimultaneously satisfies multiple heterogeneous systems and unified user managementsecurity platform. The cloud sharing can be achieved when the system deploying throughcoding cloud platform. The platform can not only meets the daily work requirements of thegovernment department but also reduce the office cost and improve the office efficiency. Atthe same time, this platform improves and perfects the work means and methods. Finally, itcan realize the informatization, networking and intellectualization of fixed asset managementsystem.
