The Management Of False News On The Internet In The Age Of We Media

We media has been a strong force in the dissemination of the informationnowadays, on the one hand it enables the production, accumulation and sharing ofpersonal information more conveniently, on the other hand it also makes the false news,which not only brings the managers a severe test but also had a negative impact onsociety. Based on the historical background of we media, exploring the formation andpropagation of false news on the net according to principles of communication andmanagement, then analyse the problems of the management, we can make a wellenvironment for public opinion, and improve the management functions of departments.The paper take some hot false news in2013as an example, use the communationtheory of "gatekeeper","twospread","need and meet ", and "spiral of silence" to explainthe behavior of the supervisor, opinion leaders and audience in the spread of false news,explore the process of communication. Then, analyse the management of false news onthe net from both network operators and government departments to reveal the problemin technic, legislation and management practice. Finally, through the introduction ofseveral foreign countries’ experience in network management to provide a guidance forthe mannagement of the false news, and to improve the management more scientifit,more systematic and flexible.Since the false news in the age of we media is showing a strongly grouth trend,there still have some problems about its regulatory legislation, and the lack ofself-discipline and other issues. The paper focus on the management of network falsenews in China, explain the phenomenon of its dissemination and analysis the theory,then proposed suggestions such as improve legislation, promote self-restraint, andestrengthen the regulatory functions to provides a reference for the networkmanagement.
