With the rapid development of mobile Internet, there is a surging need for people tokeep in contact with wireless networks. In spite of the wide coverage and high speed,3G and4G networks still can’t satisfy people’s needs for the high prices.In recent years,theapplication of the WLAN is more and more extensive because of its low cost. So it has beenconstructing large scale wireless local area network in public places, such as, airports,commercial centers and universities etc. Many cities in China have started to plan toconstruct wireless city and WLAN is an important component of the wireless city.Thus it canbe seen that WLAN is playing an important role in our life. But without unity and carefulplanning when we construct WLAN, the signal interference adjacent to the launch of thewireless AP is more serious, which is urgently needed to solve.In this paper, based on the signal interference derived from neighbor AP of WLAN, theadaptive AP launch power is proposed. This program is based on Radio ResourceManagement system, AC collecting AP real-time information of operating state. Then ACmakes a concrete analysis of data collected from AP. According to the adaptive algorithm, ACdistributes channel and launch power. Finally, AC executes decisions to optimize the radioresource of AP. First, AP adjusts the channel, and second adjusts the power. Because theadjustment of channel will cause the change of power. To enrich the adjustment means of APlaunch power, it can be triggered automatically or manually. In addition, the AP can perceiveits neighbors offline so as to increase transmission power to achieve the coverage of signalblind zone.Radio Resource Management system runs on Comware V7platforms of H3c Company.A framework for RRM system is designed according to the Comware V7platform features,and also a detailed design is presented for adaptive AP launch power. On this basis, thefunction of adaptive AP launch power is achieved. Through the system functional testing, theresults show that it can meet basic needs set previously, withstand the high intensity stressand satisfy the requirements of large-scale networks with commercial conditions.
