With the rapid economic development, people’s needs for communication, especially for IP business needs are also showing explosive growth. The rapid development of IP services is to bring the huge demand for bandwidth, which enables carriers to send network optical transmission bandwidth requirements are also growing. Large-capacity optical transmission technology, primary and mature is the DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology. Fujian Telecom since 2002, began construction of a new generation of a large number of single-wave rate of 10Gbit / s high-speed large-capacity DWDM systems. At present, these high-rate DWDM systems carrying a large number of Fujian Telecom’s core business. However, with the continuous development of the national economy, road construction, municipal construction have become increasingly frequent, which is the security of fiber optic cable to bring the increasingly serious impact of threatening the security of DWDM systems, while the multiple natural disasters also pose a serious threat to the DWDM system.These high-speed DWDM systems, once interrupted, the economic losses will be very great. Therefore, due to cable outage in the system blocked, or when you know in advance that it will be interrupted, it will be transferred to other available cable system is open to resume operations as quickly as possible is very necessary.As the number of routes are open in different types of fiber optic cable, they are an alternate fiber optic cable using a different type, and different types of fiber optic cable loss value, dispersion value has a huge difference, which gives enormous DWDM system, the difficulties of scheduling.Prior to the completion of this design has always been the lack of an effective means to ensure the successful scheduling. Analysis of the circumstances of the fiber optic cable, combined with equipment in to design an effective program OLP transmission maintenance Fujian Telecom in an important issue.In this paper, the impact DWDM system in the scheduling between the different types of fiber dispersion, attenuation factor analysis, factors surrounding the handling of these discussions come to a solution:Combining the system dispersion tolerance, optical receiver sensitivity and the main spare fiber dispersion and attenuation of the situation, calculate, identify the different types of fiber optic cable when switching between the factors which play a leading factor, for the dispersion effects, according to the calculated dispersion is owed to the compensation system, compensation, or had decided to dispersion compensation module configuration; for the attenuation, then take line attenuation device on the system, the system to adjust the transmitter laser method for processing, for other factors have also taken corresponding measures. According to the solution, this paper designed a well-established high-rate DWDM system in the construction of special-shaped fiber optic cable between the OLP program to improve the future reliability of high-rate DWDM systems, effectively shortening the cable failure due to system outages caused by the length of time greatly reduces the perception of users of cable faults, improve the corporate image of the Fujian Telecom, China Telecom to upgrade its brand value. With the scheduling continuous development and improvement of the program will enhance the province high-speed DWDM system reliability, stability, play a crucial role.
