With the improvement of living standard, people are promoting their requirement of the quality of dishes. The Chinese meal goes to the world from China as an art of the quintessence of Chinese culture, but the particularity of the cooking skills makes it difficult to meet people’s demands, as the development of cooking skills rely on the comprehend ability of cook. At the same time, some characteristic of Chinese dishes make it difficult to produce in production-line, such as foreign fast food. So, the automatic cooking robot will provide users with a more healthful lifestyle, and popularize the culture of Chinese meal all around the world.A measure and control system was designed in this thesis to meet the demand of automatic cooking robot. This thesis presents the research work in aspects:(1) The software and hardware of measure and control system was chosen in accordance with the principle of the co-design of hardware and software. And a fieldbus control system IP core was designed based on state machine. (2) The embedded hardware platform and the multi-core communications mechanism were introduced, and the FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) on-chip logic system was analyzed. (3)According to the design process of the software system, the operate system was allocated. The hardware driver and application programs were designed in accordance with the requirement of the measure and control system. In order to improve the security of the measure and control system, a scheme of soft encryption was analyzed.
