Nowadays, more and more manufacturing industry set up their foundries in China, which prick up the competition. In order to provide better service to customers, adapting to the continuously variational business requirement, and smooth the process definition between different business departments and different business systems, the company must integrate the existing IT systems inside,a new platform with the feature of information sharing must be set up. And also it will be the basis IT architecture for later implement of integrating other business process flow, data warehouse building, and so on. Here is the mainly research and innovation point of this thesis:Firstly, this article takes deep research and analyses for the background, category and development of enterprise application.The auther then describes the key technologies in J2EE and Web Service used for the system integration. J2EE is one of the most important platforms used by enterprise applications, and the features of Web Services are very helpful for communication between different modules in enterprise.Later, the thesis brings out the enterprise application integration solution suitable for manufacturing industry based on deep analysis of the company’s existing IT business systems and the integration requirement. A seven-layered architrcture is brought up. The auther make detail description on the seven layer of this enterprise integration. Being manufacturing industry, MES should be its core computer integrated manufacturing system; the integration solution with MES will affect the whole solution of enterprise application integration. So the article makes emphasis on MES integration with Tuxedo, accociated with MES Tuxedo solution, considering other existing system of manufacturing industry, the auther and her team brings out the solution of enterprise application integration for their company.Then, the auther makes detail description for the enterprise application integration architrcture design and detail interface design with other systems. Integration design and function extending of MES system is also described in detail, so does the interface between EAI and SAP, EAI and Ecommerce. Based on business process analysis, the article also brings out the solution for one running pricess flow in EAI platform. To be competent for the high performance request for manufacturing industry, this article discusses the performance needs of the platform, and brings out the solution of cluster, design out one clustered-solution with failover and load banalce mechanism, and give introduction on failover and load balance.The mainly achievements of this project is that, it sets up one uniform, real time EAI platform for information sharing service. This platform can make convenient connection and communication with existing IT systems, which realizes the indeed information sharing for business processes such as procurement, production, manufacture, sales, inventory, financial, cost accounting etc and helps the company to make information communication between different departments. Via this EAI platform, the company can integrate the different business systems from different business departments to one integrated platform by business process flow, which realizes automatizated enterprise business process transaction, increases business processing efficiency, improves the company response ability, and meets customer’s request better, decreases the cost, and improves the company’s competition ability.At last, the auther summarizes the project experience and makes some conclusion for this project. The author also put forward expectations for EAI next step progress, discussed the impact EAI will bring to enterprise IT strategic layout and the prospect for the future.
