Design And Realization Of Management System Of Xingfeng Thermal Power Plant Inventory

Thermal power plant is one of the typical asset-intensive industries and its materialinventory management is an important part of the management and production processes forall kinds of power plants. The basic job of material inventory is the management of importand export materials and goods into and from the store, more importantly, it can timely andeffectively provide various relevant reports. Inventory management is an important securityand prerequisite for routine equipment maintenance, besides scientifical and rational reserveinventory and real-time balance information of inventory may provide high quality service formaintenance personnel, therefore, it is the essential basis for equipment maintenance in thepower plant and the important measure to shorten equipment maintenance duration, improvemaintenance quality, reduce the equipment downtime rate and protect production of theindustry[1].Generation enterprise inventory management are generally accounted for20%to30%ofproduction costs, which means how to strengthen and improve the plant material control,reduce inventory finance, real-time report inventory information, guarantee the smoothlysupply of spare parts inventory, has become the inevitable trend of the modern generationinventory management.This project designed and realitized an inventory management system which is based onthe comprehensive investigation on material inventory in a thermal power plant, the analysisof existing problems in the inventory management and requirement of current inventorymanagement.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:(1) The requirement analysis of material inventory management system. Six functionalmodules including a basic inventory, importing storage management, exporting storagemanagement, inventory management, recording and checking management and systemmanagement are introduced.(2) An overview of the relevant inventory system software including Net technology, div+css layout and database technologies.(3) The design and implementation of developed system. Various modules of inventory management systems are designed and developed according to the business demand of theinventory management and this including system design, business process design, systeminterface design, and database and system structure design of inventory management system.
