The Research And Application Of Performance Testing Technology Of Web Application System Based On I-PTGM

The Web system is able to share the information around the world, which is the most active part of the Internet. With the widespread use of Web system, the user visits and the data volume are increasing, as a result, Web systems response more slowly and even deny the requests, which seriously affects user experience.Therefore,enterprises and users ask higher requirements for performance of Web system. Web performance testing is considered as an important means to ensure the stability and reliability of Web system, and has become a very important stage in the software development life cycle.However,different from the traditional software testing, the complexity and unpredictability of user behaviors make the Web performance testing difficult.The paper analyzes the related technologies of Web performance testing,and makes a thorough research on the performance testing model of Web system and performance indicator system. First, it introduces the basic theory of traditional software testing and performance testing, and points out the Web performance testing category. It analyzes the basic performance indicators and related performance testing tools.Through a comprehensive analysis of the architecture of Web system, it summarizes the content and influencing factors of the Web performance testing. Then,the paper makes a detailed classification for the indicators related to the Web system and summarizes the judgment skills of performance indicators. Through the analysis of user behaviors, performance indicators based on user behaviors are proposed. Combined with the theory of software engineering, a method to set up a systematic system of the performance evaluation indicator is proposed, based on the system architecture, the system type, test targets and user behaviors. Finally, through in-depth study of the traditional performance testing models, combined with the theory of regression testing and the iterative development model which is popular currently, the paper puts forward an improved performance testing model, and detailedly describes the I-PTGM. It mainly summarizes the demand analysis stage, the design of the scene and testing case sets, the method of scenario execution and result analysis. A case verifies the effectiveness of the method to establish a systematic system of the performance evaluation indicator and the I-PTGM model.
