Research And Application Of Web Application System Performance Testing Based On Global Performance Testing Model

With the improvement of enterprise informatization,the number of users visiting the enterprise web application systems are increasing day by day.The huge amount of visits may slow down the response time of system pages,even lead to system downtime,which will directly affects the normal operation of the enterprise and causes great losses to the enterprise.Therefore,the enterprise puts forward higher requirements for the system performance.How to carry out performance testing in an efficient way has become an urgent research subject.The architecture of Web application systems has many complexities,there are many unpredictability in the user's operating behavior.In addition,many enterprises do not have a professional performance testing team,which leads to many problems in the process of performance testing.Their testing process is often chaotic and disordered,and their operation behavior is relatively casual.These problems reflect that Web Performance testing needs to follow testing rules and testing model.However,the traditional performance testing model has the following problems: Lack of of performance requirements analysis capabilities,lack of analysis of system deployment environment and key performance indicators;does not have general guidance,does not pay attention to the actual business characteristics of the system,and can not be widely used in performance testing in different fields;Lack of comprehensiveness,lack of performance optimization and regression testing in the process of performance testing,unable to fully guide the whole process of performance testing.For the above problems and current situation,we propose a set of global performance testing model to guide the whole process of web application system performance testing.In this paper,we study the theory,technology and tools of web performance testing.This paper analyzes the traditional performance testing model in detail,summarizes the defects in the traditional model,and proposes a global performance testing model based on these defects and research on performance testing theory and a lot of performance testing experience.We introduce the overall architecture of the global performance testing model,and elaborate the specific content and application method of the model in each stage of performance testing.In this paper,we have used Load Runner that a high degree of automation performance load tool,as the practical research tool of this paper,and take intelligent storage system as the web application system example.We verify the effectiveness and ease of use of the global performance testing model through the actual project.According to this model,we guide the performance testing,analyze the testing results,performance optimization and regression verification,and finally complete the performance testing.The practical results show that theglobal performance testing model proposed is more comprehensive and easy to operate than the traditional performance testing model,this model will help enterprises to better execute and manage the performance testing work.
