With the development of embedded technology, video compression technology and wireless transmission technology, dynamic monitoring and on-site monitoring and dispatching provided by wireless video surveillance gradually become a trend in video surveillance. This thesis researched a wireless video monitoring and scheduling system based on embedded Linux platform. The system was based on Marvell PXA310embedded microprocessor with the embedded platform to achieve wireless video capture, compression and transmission; use B/S rich client architecture to achieve WEB end video monitoring and scheduling capabilities; use FFMpeg(Fast Forward Moving Pictures Experts Group) to do video coding and decoding and convert video formats, to build distributed video servers, to provide real-time video transmission, recording and scheduling capabilities. The purpose was to achieve a low-cost, stable performance, easy video monitoring and scheduling system for mobile use. In the thesis, the wireless video collection terminal for user-management functions implemented based on B/S architecture software platform for wireless video surveillance and video scheduling, the platform achieved a distributed terminal video servers, end-to-web monitoring interface, end-to-end video surveillance in three modes; Meanwhile, the platform provided video scheduling feature that allowed users to send commands to any registered video terminal and upload it to the specified server or specify video terminal, this feature provided emergency dispatching and monitoring aspects of a good try, it can be applied to emergency command scheduling, to integrate it in specific emergency command platform, in order to achieve effective on-site monitoring and flexible control. In addition, the system provided interface services available in fixing video collection terminal access to the software platform. The main work of this thesis was based on the existing hardware platform using the Linux operating system to complete the software development. The purpose was for mobile and intelligent video surveillance preliminary research and application. To provide users with mobile, intelligent video monitoring and scheduling, to provide a solution that allowed users to get rid of time, place, space limitations for mobile monitoring and manage targets real-time monitoring, real-time collection and unified management and coordination.
