The Research And Implementation Of The Unified Resource Network Management System

With the rapid development of technology and network, more and more devices are ported to run in the network environment. But during the operation and maintenance, network management system is always designed for network-layer devices, which does not provide good support for enterprise application services and unified resources management. Meanwhile, the network elements gradually show the trend of expansion, that almost all of the network entities will be treated as managed objects to make a comprehensive view of the network for network administrators. In order to ensure the stable operation of business systems and improve the return, the unified management of resources running over the network becomes more and more important.The Unified Resource NMS is developed for the hardware based on network protocol such as SNMP and the software in keeping with the system requirement. First of all, this paper carries out research on the background, current status, content and significance. It specifies the scope of the managed object and target. And what’s more, requirement analysis is analyzed and confirmed. According to the design of architecture, functions, and document database, it conducts the overall design of the system. The managed objects are monitored pertinently by the way as follows:SNMP, information page or interact through Web Service. At last, in light of the demand and design, the system is completed and tested.On the basis of SNMP, Web Service, multi-thread technology and etc., this paper shows the design and implementation of the NMS which monitors parameters set in different resources through the Web Browser.
