| With the rapid development of network technology, the scope of network applications is becoming more and more widely and the network structure is becoming more and more complicated. Those changers enable us to know less and less traffic and other network performance indicators, and bring a series of difficulties to the network management and network analysis. Monitoring and analysis of the different network traffic are more important for improving the performance of the network and overcoming the network bottleneck. The network optimization based on the network traffic monitoring technology is an important part of the network management.This thesis analyzed the network measure and monitoring technologies, and carefully explained the simple network management protocol. This thesis researched the network monitoring system model based on the Web and RRDtool technology, and designed the data acquisition method, the system structure and data storage way for the network monitoring system. At the last of the paper, develop a network monitoring system based on the Web. The main contributions as follows:1. In the WAMP (Windows, Apache, MySQL, PHP) framework, combined with SNMP and RRDtool data storage technology, develop a network monitoring system with the convenient operation, graphical display.2. The network monitoring system based on Web configuration and monitoring, convenient implementation, simple, suitable for supporting the SNMP network equipment.3. The system is based on RRDtool storage technology; the monitoring data can be used repeatedly. When query the specified period of monitoring data, you need not to browse through the entire database file. It is higher efficiency.4. In order to reduce the load of the system and improve system efficiency, we separate the system data storage and drawing function.5. It is kinds of diagrams about the monitoring results. To meet the different needs of network management, the network administrators can dynamically set more style curve. |
