As China’s border security issues have become increasingly complex, the need for border monitoring efforts should be increasingly strengthened. Video monitoring systems can be very intuitive observation to the border situation. Under normal circumstances, the border areas do not have a fixed network or mobile network coverage. The large data for real-time video capture and transmission is a major problem.With video capture, compression and transmission technology developement, OFDM-based FPGA implementation of H.264codec has become possible. H.264video codec technology can be a large amount of data compression encoding video data fully. The use of FPGA-based modulation techniques OFDM baseband data stream can be highly efficient, error-free to transfer package. Real-time embedded operating system μC/OS-Ⅱ provides a convenient way to the protocol development of a transit node.This paper mainly completed the following contents:1. have achieved the migration work based on Xilinx FPGA Microblaze soft-core CPU of μC/OS-Ⅱ real-time operating system.2. have achieved the data based on H.264video camera FPGA decoding.3. have achieved the FPGA-based baseband OFDM communication system transmitter module design.
