Design And Implementation Of Video Conference System Based On Software Codec

The Video Conference System and its real time implementation based on PC platform is introduced and the key problems such as Video Capture. Video Codec. Multiplex and Frame Forming are discussed in detail. The function of Video Capture is implemented through VFW SDK. which is provided by Microsoft and is about digital video. Using VFW, applications can digitize a video clip from analog video source and play it. The design of Video Codec is based on LTU-T H.263+ Recommendation which is the revised edition of H.263 and is also proposed for video coding for low bitrate communication. For the whole system is software-based and its synchronization and real time performance are considered. a method of multithreading and double video buffers is presented in this paper. Finally. the system is implemented by ActiveX control. so it can be inserted in any container and used flexibly.
