With the rapid development of RFID, it is widely used in retail, manufacturing and logistics, realizing the management of materials in warehouses, monitoring and tracking the delivery of materials, as well as the timely supply of materials in supermarkets. Due to its advantages of non-contact, long read range and fast read speed, more and more enterprises applying RFID technology in warehouse management systems. Of course, it also brings new problems.RFID technology brings automation and informatization to the materials management, promotes the labor efficiency, and reduces the cost. However, since each enterprise uses different and separated materials management system in supply chain, there is a huge obstacle in information sharing and dissemination, making it difficult to cooperate. So, we should apply EPCglobal standards to build the middleware for accessing the heterogeneous materials management system. It will ensure the automation and real-time identification of information in each logistic unit, promote the transparency and visibility of the trade unit, so as to enhance the operational efficiency of the supply chain.The paper analyzes the EPCglobal standards proposed by GS1association and does some research on open source middleware. Firstly, we analyzes the interfaces and implementation of EPC information services model (EPCIS), Application Level Events model (ALE) and Business Event Generate model (BEG). Secondly, we do demand analysis of materials management accessing system, as well as design model functions and data structures, especially the properties of each model and the interaction between current materials management system and EPCIS. Thirdly, after designing the system in detail, we develop the system. With this accessing system, enterprises can take the advantages of EPC network and have better cooperation with other trade units without changing the current materials management system. At last, in order to guarantee the availability and stability of materials management system, we do some functional and performance testing. The results show that our materials management accessing system can establish connection of traditional materials management system with unified platform seamlessly, and provide big data information services for multi supply chains.
