Because of the corrosion resistance, small proportion, and the advantages ofconvenient installation, the high pressure glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP)pipes are widely used in petroleum, heat water drainage, electrical and otherindustries. Making a pipe need four steps: winding, curing, demoulding andcutting-grinding. For traditional, these are separate and most of them are used inmanual, need higher request for workers to operate, not only increased theequipment and the production cost, but also need to assign a large number oflabor, and the efficiency is low, the grinding quality is poor. So it is important tomake an automatic production line control system for the high pressure FRP.In order to make the pipeline of standard quality after grinding, first analyzethe grinding characteristics and grinding way of the pipe. For this, know therelationship between the feeding, feed speed, etc. Selected the suitable grindingway, finally combining with the theory of the data obtained and the test result,gain the reasonable grinding parameters.The whole automatic production line control system is divided into winding,curing, demoulding and grinding. Winding adopts MC206X with the combinationof industrial control, using VC++to complete upper interface development, andMC206X to complete the motion control. Curing, demoulding and grinding andcutting control system adopts Siemens S7-1200PLC as the main controller, usingtouch screen as a PC to complete the man-machine interaction function. UsingSiemens TIA Portal V11platform to complete all the development of PLC andtouch screen program. The whole production line control system for windingcontroller MC206X and curing is used between PLC I/O interconnection. Therest of the systems are connected to the whole production line installationPROFINET industrial Ethernet. Each device in each system has its own IPaddress. Every part through the network communication exchange data. For this, the whole production line is working coordinately.Through a lot of test and practical production testing. The angle stability ofthe grinded pipes are within1.87°to1.93°. The feeding error range of grindingis within0.1mm. The production efficiency is more than70root/day. All the partof the control system is continuous and stable operation.
