In recent years,with the digitization of knowledge resources, the emerging field of digital libraries has become a rapidly developing.But the formation and construction of digital library research and the situation in full swing in sharp contrast to the assessment study and practice of digital libraries is relatively slow,and evaluate more concentrated at the theoretical level, the overall assessment of the digital library,the assessment of university library.rarely from the perspective of interaction assess how the overall design of digital libraries affects the interactive performance of the user’s.Digital Library is a special interactive information retrieval systems, digital libraries quality directly affect the performance of the user’s interaction.Therefore from a user perspective, the evaluation of interactive features of digital library is necessary, to lay the foundation for further design of digital libraries to better meet the needs of users.The purpose of this paper is based on three dimensions of users’interaction with digital libraries, to develop an interactive, model for digital library evaluation. Specific objectives of the study include:﹊nvestigate the difference among the interactive performance of different academic levels of users’ interaction with the digital library;②what is significantly different between different simulation tasks and comparison of performance interactive between simulation tasks;③compared simulated tasks with real task;④analyze,the relationship between different dimensions and task-based evaluation of digital libraries, interactive evaluation of digital libraries, the overall assessment of digital libraries, and the whole of the three dimensions of the combined effect of these three aspects.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part is an introduction.Overall introduces the research background, purpose, meaning, innovation and heavy&difficult of this article.The second part is a literature review, introduces the present situation of digital library evaluation.The third part is a theoretical framework to assess the interaction of digital libraries.The fourth part is the interactive digital library model validation methods.The fifth part of the interactive digital library model validation analysis results were verified by the specific objectives of the study and evaluation of interactive features to build the model.The sixth part is the conclusion and outlook.Data analysis showed that,①different academic levels of users’interaction with the digital library, in terms of usability,navigation functions, to distinguish whether a list of significant holdings,in line with the law browsing,page layout and reasonable layout,rational use of multimedia, easy to learn,efficiency,orderly aspect site organizations have significant differences,and there were significant differences in the evaluation of digital libraries in different areas;②although among simulation tasks are not statistically significant, but overall the interactive performance of medium difficulty task is better than high difficulty.③Due to users’ different cognitive in some areas, leading to compare with the real task,simulate task in independence,familiarity with the theme,confidence,knowledge of task topic,the experience of search and objective task complexity have a significantly difference,but did not have an impact on interactive performance,indicating at some extent simulation task can replace the real task;④the fidelity,accessibility,accuracy,usefulness,appropriateness,ease of understanding of the information dimension,subjective task complexity of task dimension,organized site navigation featured,easy to learn,page layout and reasonable layout,concise,rational use of multimedia,prominent theme,links rich and effective, browsing tools are easy to find, whether significant holdings list of technical dimensions significantly affect the user’s interaction with the digital library.Based on the above analysis to develop an evaluation model of task-based digital libraries,an evaluation model of interaction in digital libraries, the overall evaluation model of digital libraries.
