Information System Analysis And Design Of Inventory And Logistics Distribution For Third-part Logistics Company

Information technology has become one of the most important tools for the development of economic and society in world today. As an important resource, information becomes an important factor and direct productive forces for the development of economic and society. In our country, logistics service enterprise develops rapidly, but they often engage in simple transportation and warehousing services at the present time. They don’t do very well in fields of distribution, inventory, cost-controlling and the other value-added logistics services. The level of information technology is not high in these enterprises.In this paper,we analysis, design and implement the inventory and distribution management information system in order to improve IT and scientific level. The information system could meet the requirement of small enterprise who engage in warehousing and distribution. In this paper, we do some study about anglicizing the system, planning from the top, developing from bottom and using life-cycle as the chief method to develop system. We also analysis the business process, organization requirement and data flow, then we get the logical model of new system. Inventory and distribution management information system achieve full function with Visual Basic6.0development prospects and Access2003database to create the background. The system is set up mainly by initialization, goods and distribution management, query and data report forms. The system is easy to be operated, and it also meet the requirement of inputting or querying the information of goods and customers. The system can help the administrator achieve the work of query and modify basic information, so it will enable small-scale logistics enterprises to easily manage the administrator login information, inventory information, the storage of information and distribution information.
