As the third profit source, logistics is playing a more and more importmant role in the national economy and the people's livelihood. Every logistics corporation is reinforceing its management, especially the information management. This paper present the design and realization of a third part logistics managenment information system.Firstly, the defination of logistics and the development of the third part logistics are introduced. And then, paper gives out the key role of information technology in modern logistics.Secondly, from the angle of software design paper introduce the whole system analysis and design. It includes user requirement analysis, system frame, data stream chart and database design.Thirdly, the article expatiates particularly several techniques. They are Electronic Data Interchange, Global Positioning System and Vehicle Routing Problem. Their use in the system make system more powerful.Finally, paper introduces some distinct characteristics and features. For instance, user interface, query functions and report forms, and etc. In addition, comparison is made among three systems in standardization, expansivity, function and availability. |
