A Scheme Research Of Migrating A Production Management System Of Port Based On SOA To Cloud Platform

Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a high-profile subject in IT and a development trend of enterprise informationization. It has been favored by the enterprises for years because of advantages like highly reusable service, loosely coupled, standard data interface and supporting a variety of message modes etc. Many large enterprises have implemented information systems based on SOA, realized the transformation of enterprise application system from function oriented to process oriented, from the comprehensive deployment model of IT and business system to flexible incremental deployment mode.Cloud computing, as a new way of IT, has a profound impact on the evolution of the IT. Since early1960s, someone has put forward the view that computing ability can be provided to users like water, power, gas and other resources according their needs. Cloud computing enables the technology to realize the separation from IT infrastructure, flexible response to business change, effectively resolved problems IT industry concerned like hardware resource waste, high cost of management and maintenance and so on. How can SOA and cloud computing coordinated develop, how to migrate systems based on SOA to cloud platform, is one of the hot topics.This paper focuses on the analysis of necessity and feasibility of migrating Guangzhou port production management system based on SOA to cloud platform, putting forward a scheme of migrating the system to a mixed cloud platform composed of public cloud and enterprise private cloud. In the experimental environment, the author built an enterprise private cloud platform based on CloudStack, selected Sina’s APP Engine (SAE) as the public cloud provider, realized the migration scheme and studied on the optimization of enterprise IT governance mechanism after migration. This scheme, to some extent, resolved the data security problem and the access speed enterprise concerned, satisfying flexible IT demand, providing reference of system cloud migration to other enterprises at the same time.
