With the upgrading of petrochemical equipment, the management of equipment is much harder than before. In the case that the petrochemical industry is developing rapidly today, the inherent management mode does not meet the company’s production requirements any more. Especially in equipment maintenance, due to production interruption or accidents caused by equipment failure occurs frequently. And these failures have a significant impact on staffs’health and enterprises’economic benefits. Therefore, in order to meet the demands of production and ensure production safety and economic efficiency, improving the company’s existing facilities management, and researching a new management method is necessary.Present to build an equipment predictive maintenance information platform in this paper, using Oracle database as the background, input ledger of equipments, inspection and maintenance records and some others information. Using Visual Basic software development to achieve equipment basic information management by connecting the device, and considering the design of the interface can make users and software form a good interaction. In the respect of equipment maintenance, we use RBI, RCM, SIL to do risk assessment and equipment failure analysis. Based on the related standard, analyze equipment risk state of production system in enterprise; determine whether the operation of existing equipment meets the demand of production needs; and set up inspection and maintenance arrangement reasonably to ensure the stability of production. In this article,1will explain the use of each method with examples. To improve the enterprise’s judgment of equipment’s risk status, this paper studies the reference and analysis process of several kinds of safety evaluation methods. And summarize optional safety assessment methods for risk analysis of all kinds of petrochemical plants and equipments.Equipment predictive maintenance information platform has considered the management of the equipment synthetically. This platform is not only convenient for users to understand the information, but also puts forward scientific management methods for the maintenance of equipment by using risk assessment methods. In the platform, equipment basic information and risk assessment method forms a closed loop, through the design realized the connection between the two. Set equipment failure query window in the platform to improve the function of predictive maintenance, and record existing fault information, then present treatment measures. For unknown fault states, after analyzing the information we determine the treatment measure and entry it for use.
