More than600,000people die from overwork every year, which means that there are2000people die from overwork per day. In2006, due to the Academy of Social Sciences Talent Blue Book "China Talent Development Report NO.3", said China has nearly70percent of young intellectuals in karoshi cliff,1/5of people may die from overwork or accidents. With the rapid social and economic development, the material level has been higher than ever before, but it also means fast-paced life and growing competitive pressure are coming together, seeing that, people are increasingly concerned about health issues. In the year of internet, the karoshi reports can be always seeing on all kinds of mediums, especially on network media. As an important medium for public access to health knowledge and health information, the network plays an important role in people’s daily life. However, online media conditioned by their limitations, news reports about karoshi there must be a lot of problems, most difficult to distinguish between true and false news, report extremely low levels, and its authenticity, accuracy and authority open to question. Network media as a health communication during a "gatekeeper" to ensure the authenticity of health information, scientific, practical, in order to achieve the ultimate goal of health communication. So, research about online media reports on karoshi content will be conducted to explore what the current inadequacies in network? In order to raise public awareness of health literacy, what details media coverage should pay attention to? Questions like these are studied and discussed in this article.The starting point of this paper is based on the contemporary Chinese people’s health concerns. Thirty years of reform and opening up, the standard of living of our people is continue improving, but people’s health is getting worse. As opposed to obesity, high cholesterol and other common and significant impact on people’s health factors, and it is a slow accumulation of fatigue easily overlooked potential threat to people’s health and even life risk factors. In this study, health communication perspective, I select the two kinds of most representative online mediums-People and Sina news about karoshi from2002to2013for the study. Development of the use of literature analysis of health communication and combing karoshi research by reading health communication, health education and karoshi-related monographs, and take advantage of China’s total CNKI databases to find literature, including journal articles and diversification paper, the development and dissemination of health status and karoshi be clearly summarized. Type a keyword use sample survey method through two news site’s search engine "Karoshi" get related news, all the samples thus obtained the paper, the overall number of samples taken by the odd sample obtained220People Karoshi sample reports and310reports Sina Karoshi sample survey. I will determine the basic unit of analysis and construction of the categories, the use of statistical software for data classification study sample statistics. In order to conduct content analysis, construct the theoretical framework and agenda setting theory is based on the basis of research and to follow the principle of quantitative and qualitative analysis combining the contents of the report in question, involved the crowd, the report genre, sources of information, reports purposes, published, report the source.The results show that there are problems about Karoshi online media coverage:1, the network media reports’s biggest drawback is homogenization, the whole story is filled with countless articles repeatability and plagiarism, lack of original content, relevant reports authenticity to be verified.2, most online media reported karoshi cases or issues were just event reports, lack of education and knowledge of the type of health coverage.3, Karoshi reported lack of scientific proof, the report lacks appeal.4, health reports are more concentrated in white-collar workers, but people in different genders, occupations, ages, geographical populations due to different lifestyles and work attitudes are easily ignored, so it makes the reports short of scientific fact, relevance and practicality.5, Karoshi information are more often show up as a message, communication, review, genre diversified enough, and not fully use the hyperlinks characteristics of the network, making the reported structure is relatively simple.6, online media reported the lack of reliable sources, there is no source of information reported to occupy a considerable proportion of online media in the habit of using Edit " relevant"," relevant person"," some experts suggest," and so the ambiguous words,, reducing the credibility and accuracy of the reports.To solve these problems, I try to analyze the reasons and figure out the countermeasure, then made the following recommendations:1, fully demonstrate the various network media coverage style, enrich story genre, increasing original content, improve network media reported the reliability of sources of information so as to ensure the quality of news coverage.2, expanding the karoshi report area, death from overwork reported broaden the idea of the nature and significance of the depth of excavation karoshi event, while the trend grasp health communication, appropriate increase in activity classes, special classes, education classes related reports.3, strengthen the training of professional quality media workers, especially scientific proof minds thinking, writing skills and communication strategies to improve health knowledge, enhance the appeal and attractiveness of reports, thereby enhancing Karoshi reports highlight different crowd practicality.4, strengthening the construction site and opened a dedicated health channel, the use of information technology in the content network hyperlinks technical report content rich, give full play to the advantages of network terminals, and enhance the interaction mechanism between the audience and the feedback mechanism, while relying on professional authoritative organizations realize the power of online media to help spread the real purpose of health.
