Design And Implementation Of The Location-Aware Information Collection And Display System

Over the last few years, more people used mobile to access the internet than PC. Location based service has become extremely popular due to the high-speed development of the mobile internet. In this paper, a location based service system named location-aware information collection and display system was implemented. This system, which was made up of android, servlet, spring and hibernate, refered the MVC software architectural model.The task of this paper mainly can be divided into four parts, they are technical background&context introduction, requirements analysis, system design and system implementation. Android client and server constituted the system. The server was implemented by Servlet, Spring, Hibernate and MySQL database. The function of this system is to collect and display user’s track. After the programming work was finished, the compatibility of android client was tested in Baidu mobile test center, and the test results showed that the client has a good performance in compatibility. Finally, the android client was installed in a Samsung Galaxy S3mobile phone, and the server was deployed in the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud to test the performance of the system. The client and the server was connected by GPRS network. The results of the test demonstrated that the system had a stable performance, and matched the design goals completely.
