As a high-risk industry, coal-mining’s safety has always been a social focus. However, the traditional coal-mine safety monitoring system commonly used wired LAN communication technology and on-site monitoring, the real-time information of coal-mine could not reflect timely, thus the coal-mine enterprise could not very easy to carry out safety-related work.These years, with the development of technology, the Internet of Things and Mobile Internet have been proposed. By using these emerging information technologies, we propose an effective solution to improve the safety of coal-mining.In this paper, we design and implement a Mine Mobile Information System, which contains Data Source, Server and Clint three layers. This system includes ten function models:Login, Coal-production and Environment Monitoring, Daily Production Report, Progress of Important Project, Staff Locating, Potential Dangerous Factors, Real-time Video Viewing, Setting, Help and About. The Login module verifies the user authority. The Coal-production and Environment Monitoring module shows the environment information and coal production, like water level, wind pressure, gas, carbon monoxide, temperature, day production, shift production, shift hook and so on. The Daily Production Report module displays the content of daily report of production. The Progress of Important Project module presents the progress of importance projects, which includes the work content of each unit’s morning shift, middle shift and night shift. The Staff Locating module shows the distribution and trace of miners underground. The Potential Dangerous Factors displays the content of Potential Dangerous Factors which is entry by hand in the web side according to the security situation in the scene. The Real-time Video Viewing module offers the real-time video underground. The Setting module has two functions, one is to modify the server IP address and the other one is to modify the user password. The Help module shows sthe system using help information and the About module offers the developer’s information.With the help of this system, coal-mine enterprise managers can learn information of environment and production anytime and anywhere, with which they can make timely decisions. It should be much helpful for coal-mine enterprises to prevent accidents and to improve efficiency.
