As the fast development of telecom value-added service, the traditional service access ways can’t meet the current need. Therefore, integrated service access gateway emerged. Domestic carriers are actively deploying integrated service access gateway, but the matching management system is not mature. Aside from the service management system, there should be a perfect equipment management system to keep integrated service access gateway running steadily and effectively by monitoring and managing the equipments in network environment. This paper is based on this commenced premise.The integrated service access gateway equipment management system described in this paper is for the network environment characteristics of integrated service access gateway designed and implemented an equipment management system.This paper introduces some background knowledge and related technology firstly. Then the paper analyzes the requirement according to the actual conditions. Specifying the system should implement four core functions including performance management, alarm management, topology management and configuration management, two non-core functions including user management and log management, and some non-functional requirements.In the preliminary design part, the paper describes the static structure design of whole system, dynamic structure design of the interaction of between modules and the system database design. In the detailed design and implementation part, the paper describes the specific method of detailed design and implementation of some important function modules. At the same time, it focuses on four key issues including high concurrence data collection, reduce the network communication costs, filter redundant alarm effectively and improve the database responding speed.In the system testing part, based on the method of software testing, the paper describes the test environment and the test process including unit testing, integration testing and system testing. In the system depolyment part, the paper describes the equipment management system depolyment programs and operation conditions in the current network environment.At the end of the paper, the author summarizes the learning and the practice during the graduate and look to the future of the equipment management system.
