Design And Implementation Of Workflow Management System In Scada

In the background of the rapid development of the world economy, the global energy and environmental situation becomes more and more severe, pushing the world to accelerate the transformation of energy strategy. It sets off a new round of upsurge of new energy generation. Establishment a SCADA system which has characterics of information comprehensive, user-friendly, in order to save labor, reduce management costs and safety risks, produce intelligent, has become an inevitable trend for the development of production scheduling management in power plant industry. Converting business to process in SCADA systems has gradually become the emphasis of research and development. As a subsystem of SCADA, the workflow management system has achieved the business processes of the SCADA system and has supported the operational activities of the entire plant. It is the center of power plant’s production and scheduling. But along with the continuing upgrade and revision of SCADA system, business processes’s reorganization is inevitable. When the business processes need to reorganization or new processes demand generation, workflow management system needs to be redesigned and recoded. It is very flexible. Therefore, this paper proposes a lightweight and visualization workflow management system based on relational database and multi-tenant, which can flexibly customize the business processes based on the actual business requirements of SCADA system without having to redesign and recode. The workflow management system’s application to SCADA system is of great importance for power plant industry and workflow management technology.This paper has studied the relevant standards of workflow technology proposed by WfMC. This paper has analyzed the design requirements of SCADA workflow management system and studied the workflow management based on the finite state machines and multi-tenant applications. Then this paper proposed a lightweight and visualization workflow management system based on relational database and multi-tenant and successfully applied to the work order management system of SCADA system. This paper has designed and implemented the visualization flow definition tools, flow servers, flow client and flow instances Systems of the workflow management of SCADA system, achieving the goals that simple operation of definition, separation of business logic and business data and flexible and efficiency security of process management.
