Since the nineteen eighties of economic reform, China’s population continues toincrease, the per capita land area is gradually reduced, leading to the land resourceof unprecedented tension, however, in the vast rural areas, there are some emptyland can not effectively utilized, resulting in vicious spiral. Therefore, thisdissertation on the management of the rural homestead, can not only alleviate theproblem of scarce land resources of the existing, but also can make somecontribution to the management of the rural homestead right track. With the generation and development of information technology; GeographicInformation SystemGIS(Geographic Information System) is gradually entering thefields of social economy: more and more people are starting to know; study; andapply this information technology to the practice. This technology provides aneffective means for the rural land resource planning: actually it has played a key rolefor the new socialist countryside planning. Plus;GIScould manage the attribute dataand spatial data and easily deal with data consultancies; analysis; statistics; andoutput. Therefore; this system is very beneficial for the land planning workers to getand analyze the relevant data quickly and conveniently and thus; the work efficiencyis much improved.Based on the measurement technology;GIStechnology; and statistical method, this study is going to research the following aspects:1. After researching and analyzing the method of related data acquisition andprocessing, this thesis chooses Portable GPS to get Coordinate data of feature point, and uses differential technology and averaging multiple measurements method toincrease the coordinate accuracy.2. The collected data is further classified into spatial and attribute databases;which will be untidily managed by the relational database.3. In the rural land management system; different types of data are analyzed bydifferent statistical methods. For example; this article will adopt the generalstatistical variable and chart analysis method to process the attribute data; which ishelpful for the land use comparative analysis: but for the spatial element data; AHPmight be a good idea because AHP could give crop factors a weight analysis and thenmake the best planting scheme; which is very useful for managing and adjusting theland resources.4. Through Super Map platform ofGISsoftware and visual developmentlanguagesC#; the gross structure and function modules are designed to achieve thevisual management of land information; which provides the theoretical methods and decision support for land management and the following planning.
