Automatic Inspection System Of Empty Bottle

In the production of beer industry, empty bottle must be inspected before being bottled to guarantee the quality of products. Traditional inspection mode which relies on human eyes can not be satisfied with the demand of accuracy and speed, and guarantee the quality of detection. Automatic inspection system has been applied to many production industries, and then adopting automatic inspection in stead of detection with human eyes has become a development direction. The system can overcome the deficiency of inspection with human eyes and enhance production efficiency and automatic degree of production. So, automatic inspection system of empty bottle is studied in detail in this paper.The status of inspection equipments for empty bottle and market demand are introduced in this paper. Design scheme of system is stated comprehensively, focusing on the characteristics and meanings of beer empty bottle inspection such as the mechanical and electrical system scheme. Tow aspects are studied in detail. First, image processing system based on FPGA+DSP is adopted. Second, electric drive system with PLC+industry computer+inverter is applied in control method. The major contributions are developed as follows:1. The use of modern power electronic apparatus and LED infrared ray in spark optical system, the research and application of machine vision improve the inspection accuracy. High resolution of CCD camera technology is adopted in image collection, which makes tiny stuff detected. At the same time using new optical reflector system, image of many angles can be provided. The measure result is more perfect.2. Automatic control theory is applied to research and application of image processing and electronic technology. Image measure system of empty bottle based on DSP is developed, and distributed high speed and high precision multicenter simulation is adopted, and video signal is collected and managed in real time. Every inspection item of empty bottle is fulfilled perfectly. The research applies many algorithms to the decision-making of measurement, and then to judge the quality of empty bottle mouth, bottom and body.3. Electric control method of PLC+industry computer+inverter is put forward, especially frequency conversion technology is applied to electric drive system. Synchronous motor and frequency conversion guarantee the strap carries on synchronously, reliably, and steadily through digital code transmission system. Defect bottle is placed through PLC and is picked out smoothly and accuracy.Through analysis and study of theory, and synthesizing the related articles of empty bottle inspection, the total structure of empty bottle automatic inspection system is clear farther. It is emphasized that empty bottle inspector is an integration of optical, mechanical, electrical and digital image processing technology. And basis is established for a farther study.
