| As a common natural phenomenon, lightning has a close relationship with people’s life.It is a powerful discharge in nature and contains huge amounts of energy,which is very useful for human beings if it being conquered.However,it causes more disasters rather than benefits.for example,air traffics and forest fires.So,it has great significance to study the characteristics of lightning in order to forecast and monitor it.At present,the research of lightning detecting system in China is far away from the advanced country. We should do our best to make a breakthrough in this field.In this paper,the systerm optimizes the initial function of lighting high-speed information processing on FPGA board,on the basis of studying lightning signal waveform characteristics and X3-10M board resource. Such as the real-time location information of lightning, characteristics including one channel light signal and data storage and display. Compared to the previous lightning monitoring system, the biggest advantages of this system lies on the optimization to every moduel,which makes the result more exactly,at the same time,FPGA chip resource being reduced.Overall, the paper has realized the optimization and function expandation of the lighting high-speed information processing.During the optimization process there are three points as follow:1, Lightning hitbacks’ counter module optimization and GPS module time extraction trigger signal acquisition;2, optimizing the original peak value extraction algorithm and improving the accuracy of waveform peak result;3, by using the IP core to optimize positioning algorithm of the lightning, making the lightning location information more accuracy. |
