Along with the arrival of4G era, the development of TD-LTE attracts a lot of attention from society. BBU devices and RRU devices communicate through optical fiber in TD-LTE distributed base station and IR interface is the interface between the two equipment. In order to detect whether a fault has occurred between BBU and RRU, it is thus very important to monitor the C&M data between BBU and RRU. It is for this reason that the paper designs and implements a monitoring equipment to monitor the C&M data between BBU and RRU,whitch is a matter of great significance.The function of monitoring equipment has been analyzed and the overall framework of the monitoring equipment has been proposed in this paper. The hardware and software co-design concepts has been used and the design of the monitoring equipment is divided into phases such as describing the module behavior, checking the validity of the module, hardware and software division, hardware synthesis, software compiling, software and hardware integration, hardware and software co-simulation and verification. The hardware with soft core processor as the core uses the IP interconnect technology to integrate the different sources of IP into the system. The software with petalinux embedded operating system as the platform uses a combination of modular and hierarchical design idea to divide the software part into two parts such as data storage module and data display module. The monitoring equipment displays the data on a web page by using the embedded web server remote monitoring technology and realizes the remote monitoring function.The monitoring equipment designed by this paper can monitor the data between BBU device and RRU device and display the parsed C&M data on the computer’s web page. The staff can view monitoring data by a computer, find the fault equipment and timely maintenance it to ensure the base station work normally. As a result of SOPC technology, the hardware and software of the monitoring equipment can be cut, extended and upgraded, whitch makes the maintenance more convenient.
