Study On The Optimization Of Xuancheng Unicom’s WCDMA Intersystem Operation

With the expanding of the WCDMA network of Unicom in Xuancheng, the scenes of WCDMAsuch as coverage vacancy and boundary are changing contantly, which requires a continuingnetwork optimization.In order to enhance the user’s perception and ensure network’s KPI, Xuancheng Unicomlaunched the project of operation optimization of WCDMA intersystem.The purpose of the researchon this project is to improve the quality of Xuancheng Unicom’s3G network. This articleintroduces the status of Xuancheng Unicom’s network,the technical features of WCDMA, thetheory of2G/3G interoperability, including theories and procedures on the re-election of the idleand active state, and emphasizes how to carry out this project under the directing of theories.Thisproject consists of2G/3G interoperability engineering optimization and2G/3G interoperabilityperformance optimization. Xuancheng Unicom WCDMA intersystem operation optimization hashad positive effects, which achieves the goal of this study.
